AS Cannes 1992 Retro Football Shirt

The early 1990s was a thrilling time for AS Cannes who were enjoying the most succesful years in the clubs history. A historic fourth-placed Ligue 1finish in 1991took the club into European competition for the first time and they would reach the second round before being narrowly elmininated by Dinamo Moscow.

This was a team featuring the precocious skills of a young Zidedine Zidane, the experience of the veteran Luis Fernandez and the goals of Franck Priou, yet an unusual domestic campaign brought a surprise relegation. It would be a brief absence and Cannes would be back in style the following year.
