BSC Young Boys 1981-83 Retro Football Shirt

The period from 1981 to 1983 represented solid if unspectacular times for BSC Young Boys. Under Coach Bert Theunissen there was a mix of top six finishes, But outside the European places, and a mid table Nationalliga A campaign in 1983 which led to a management change.

Roland Schönenberger and Franz Peterhans were a reliable sources of goals in these 3 years while leadership came long-serving keeper Walter Eichenberger until his retirement in 1982.
