TSV 1860 München 1990 Retro Football Jacket

The move into the 1990's proved a welcome restart for TSV 1860 München after the troubles of the previous decade. After several near things, the summer of 1990 saw the club put in place the structures that would see them run away with the following seasons Oberliga Bayern and earn a place back in the 2. Bundesliga after nine seasons.

Karsten Wettberg arrived as coach and newcomers like Rainier Berg and Florian Hinterberger all played a part in an unbeaten 32 game League season, followed by an unbeaten 6 game play-off campaign that secured promotion in style.
