Real Betis 1960's Retro Football Jacket

The first half of the 1960's was a great time for Real Betis under legendary president Benito Villamarin. The club acquired its own stadium and thrived in La Liga following its return in 1959. For the next five seasons Betis always finished inthe top ten places and reached a high of third in 1964.

Fortunes waned following Villamarin's departure in 1965 and the rest of the decade brought a yo-yo existence alternating between the top two league divisions.
