FC Internazionale 1997-98 Retro Football Shirt

Internazionale's star-studded squad was strengthened yet further for 1997-98 season with the addition of Ronaldo, Diego Simeone, Alvaro Recoba and Paulo Sousa. The new squad settled well and remained unbeaten in their first dozen games before ultimately  finishing a close second in the Serie A table.

Europe brought yet more success with a third Uefa Cup win of the decade. Neuchatel Xamax, Lyon, Strasbourg, Schalke 04 and Spartak Moscow were all eliminated to put Inter in all-Italian Final against Lazio. The nerazzurri showed scintillating form to ease to a 3-0 win thanks to goals by Zamorano, Zanetti and Ronaldo.
